Why isn't my app working?
Please do not download the Zen App. The recipes are compatible with the desktop/browser version.
You can save the website to your home screen and it will look and function just like an app.
Why can I only see the Shopping List and not the recipes?
Click on the 3 lines in the top left corner, to bring up the sidebar. The current week will go Live on Monday (typically around noon EST). Click on the current week and it will bring up the Shopping list, from there click on the dropdown at the top and you can select each recipe.
There are PDFs attached to each recipe for easy saving. Please remember that recipes are taken down after 2 weeks. Recipes are Live for 14 days and you are welcome to save them, we just ask hat you don't share them.
Why am I getting an error when I click the PDF?
You may need to update your browser to the latest version OR enable the extension (usually in Chrome) for Adobe. You can get to this by clicking the puzzle piece to the right of the address bar.
Why does it say my email is not valid when I try to login?
You most likely had a typo in your email address. Please email [email protected] and we can help troubleshoot this with you.
How do I cancel?
Please send an email 10 days before your next billing date to [email protected]. Cancellation requests received with less than a 10 day notice, will renew for 1 more month and be set to cancel at the end of that cycle.
Where do I find the Live Meal Prep videos?
At this time, Live Meal Prep videos are found in the Facebook group. These are not required in order to benefit from the meal prep. No recipes, ingredient information, macro, etc will be shared in the Live. There will be weeks that there is no Live meal prep. Why are my macros different than what is in the recipe?
All brands and stores have different options that vary slightly. We recommend entering all of YOUR ingredients into the 1stPhorm app https://www.1stphorm.app/Kope as a recipe to get the most accurate macros.
How do I figure out how many servings?
Serving sizes are not one size fits all. If you are making something that has multiple ingredients in one pot/pan, one of the easiest ways to come up with servings is to put an empty Tupperware on your food scale and zero it out. Then fill the empty Tupperware with your meal (while on the food scale) and divide that number of grams or ounces by your preferred number of servings.
For example, if I make a protein in the crockpot and get 48oz total. I can choose 8 servings and each serving would be 6oz OR I could choose 12 servings and each servings would be 4oz. You could also choose 48 servings and each serving would be 1oz. It is all about preference and there is not one just one way to do this. Choose what works for you and just be consistent.
What if I don't like one of the ingredients?
You can absolutely substitute ANY of the ingredients to make the recipe what you want it to me. If you don't like shrimp, but you have chicken, use that. If you don't have a lot of calories in your macros, use chicken breasts instead of thighs or drumsticks. There are endless possibilities, these recipes are guides, they are the rules and what works for one family does not work for others.
Can this work if I prep only for myself? What is I have a big family and need more servings?
Yes, you can just cut the recipes in half to make fewer servings, or make the whole recipe and freeze some. The same goes for large families. You can double any of the recipes if you need more food to feed those hungry husbands and teenagers. Don't over complicate it.
